1.This agreement
These terms are between you and Rcrut Technology Ltd (“Rcrut”, “we”, “us”). They cover the Rcrut mobile apps, the website and our APIs.
By creating an account or using Rcrut you accept these terms and our privacy policy. If you don't accept them, don't use Rcrut.
If you're using Rcrut on behalf of a company, you confirm you're authorised to bind that company, and “you” means the company.
2.Who can use Rcrut
You must be at least 18 years old. Rcrut is a platform for employment, it records practice interviews, and it shares candidate profiles with employers — none of which is appropriate for children.
You must also be legally allowed to use the service where you live, and not barred by sanctions or export controls.
3.Your account
- Give us accurate information, and keep it current.
- One account per person. Don't share your login, and don't use anyone else's.
- You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us immediately at hello@rcrut.com if you think it's been compromised.
- Don't impersonate anyone, and don't create an account for a person who doesn't exist.
- You can delete your account at any time — see §12.
4.What Rcrut is — and isn't
Rcrut helps job seekers find roles and helps employers find candidates. It uses AI to score, rank and explain those matches, and it gives candidates tools — CV generation, practice interviews, skill quizzes, a career advisor — to present themselves better.
We also don't independently verify every claim in a job posting or a profile. We screen job postings automatically before they go live, we act on reports, and we remove what breaks our rules — but you should still use judgement about who you deal with, and never pay anyone for a job. Our support page explains the warning signs and how to report them.
5.If you're looking for work
- It's free. We never charge a candidate a placement fee — employers pay for hiring. There is an optional Premium subscription that lifts usage limits; everything essential works without it.
- Your profile must be about you, and must be honest. Inventing experience or qualifications is grounds for removal, and it wastes your time as much as anyone's.
- Practice interviews are recorded. We tell you before recording starts. Employers never receive the raw recording or transcript; they see a written summary and your scores only if you switch interview sharing on. See the privacy policy.
- You control discoverability. You can leave employer search entirely and still apply to roles yourself.
- Contact details are revealed on a match, not before. When you match with an employer, they receive your contact details and CV, and they become responsible for that data under their own policy.
6.If you're hiring
- Post real, accurate roles. No ghost postings, no bait-and-switch on pay or terms, and no listings for roles that don't exist. Postings are screened before publication and may be rejected or removed.
- No discrimination. Requirements or language that discriminate on race, nationality, religion, gender, age, disability, marital status or any other protected characteristic are not allowed, and we will remove them.
- Never ask a candidate for money — for a visa, a placement, training, equipment or a background check — and never ask for bank details or identity documents to arrange an interview. This is immediate grounds for termination.
- Candidate data is for hiring for the role you contacted them about. Do not export, resell, scrape or reuse it for marketing, for building your own database, or for any other purpose. You are an independent controller of the candidate data you receive and are responsible for handling it lawfully.
- Verified signals are evidence, not a decision. Interview and quiz scores are inputs. You decide who to interview and hire, and you are responsible for that decision and for complying with employment law where you hire.
- Your team — you're responsible for who you invite into your account and what they do in it. Anyone signing up with your verified work-email domain may be placed in your account as a pending member for an owner to approve.
- Fees are as agreed with us in writing or as shown at purchase, and are invoiced to your company. Placement fees are never charged to candidates.
7.AI features
Rcrut's CV generation, match explanations, interview analysis, quiz scoring and career advisor are AI-generated. That means:
- Output can be wrong. Check anything factual before you rely on it — especially a generated CV, which you are responsible for before you send it to anyone.
- It isn't professional advice. The career advisor is not a lawyer, an immigration adviser or a financial adviser, and nothing it says is legal, tax or immigration advice.
- Scores are signals. They're one input into ranking, not a judgement of your worth or a guarantee of accuracy. You can ask for a human to review a score you think is wrong: hello@rcrut.com.
- Don't try to game it. Prompt injection, keyword stuffing to manipulate ranking, or automating the advisor are all prohibited under §8.
8.Acceptable use
Don't do any of this on Rcrut:
- Harass, threaten, abuse, stalk or intimidate anyone; post hateful, violent or sexual content; or contact someone who has blocked you.
- Defraud anyone, run a scam, phish, or ask candidates for money or documents.
- Impersonate a person, a company or Rcrut itself.
- Post spam, chain messages, MLM or “business opportunity” pitches dressed up as jobs.
- Scrape, crawl, bulk-export or systematically copy profiles, job postings or any other part of Rcrut; or use bots and automated tools against it.
- Reverse engineer the service, probe or bypass our security, access data that isn't yours, or use the API outside what we've documented and permitted.
- Upload malware, or anything designed to disrupt the service.
- Infringe anyone's intellectual property, or upload content you don't have the right to upload.
- Break the law, or use Rcrut for anything other than genuine hiring or job seeking.
We may suspend or terminate an account for breaking these rules, and we may do so immediately and without notice where someone's safety is at stake.
9.Your content and moderation
You keep ownership of everything you upload — your profile, your CV, your messages, your recordings. You grant us a licence to host, process, display and share it strictly as needed to operate Rcrut and provide the features you use (including sharing your profile with employers as described in the privacy policy). That licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where we must keep something for the reasons in the privacy policy.
You're responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to post it.
Reporting, blocking and removal
Rcrut carries content written by other people — job postings, profiles and chat messages. You can:
- Report any message, conversation, profile, job or company from inside the app, or by emailing hello@rcrut.com.
- Block anyone you're in a conversation with. A block stops messages in both directions and stops them opening a new conversation with you. You can unblock from your settings.
A person reviews every report. We may remove content, limit an account, or suspend or terminate it — and we act faster where safety is involved. We may keep a record of a report and of the content it concerned so we can see patterns of behaviour, as described in the privacy policy.
We don't pre-moderate every message. We screen job postings automatically before publication and we act on what's reported to us.
10.Subscriptions and payments
Candidate subscriptions bought in the app
- Billed by Apple or Google, not by us, under their terms. They renew automatically until cancelled.
- Cancel with the store — Apple or Google Play. We cannot cancel a store subscription for you.
- Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Premium until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds for store purchases are the store's decision, not ours.
- Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel it with Apple or Google, or you will keep being charged.
Employer plans and fees
- Invoiced to your company at the prices agreed in writing or shown at purchase. Payment terms are as stated on the invoice.
- Prices exclude taxes unless stated; you're responsible for any VAT or equivalent.
- Late or failed payment may lead us to suspend your postings and your access.
- Except where the law requires otherwise, fees for a period already started are non-refundable.
We may change prices for future periods. We'll tell you before a change affects you, and you can cancel rather than accept it.
11.Intellectual property
Rcrut — the software, the design, the brand and the models and scoring we build — belongs to us and our licensors. These terms don't transfer any of it to you. You may use Rcrut only as these terms allow.
Content generated for you, such as a CV, is yours to use as you like. Don't use our name or logo to suggest we endorse you without written permission.
If you believe something on Rcrut infringes your rights, tell us at hello@rcrut.com with enough detail to find it, and we'll investigate.
12.Ending this agreement
You can leave whenever you want. Delete your account in the app, or use the form at rcrut.com/support#data-deletion — which works even if you can no longer sign in. Deletion is permanent and there is no reactivation.
We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if we're required to by law, or if keeping your account active would put someone at risk. Where it's reasonable to give notice and a chance to fix it, we will.
We may also stop offering Rcrut, or a part of it. If we discontinue a paid service we'll refund the unused portion of anything you've prepaid.
Sections that should outlive the agreement do — intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnity and governing law.
13.Disclaimers
Rcrut is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We don't warrant that:
- you'll get a job, an interview, a reply, or a hire;
- any job posting, employer or candidate profile is accurate, genuine or suitable;
- AI output — including scores, rankings and generated CVs — is accurate or complete;
- the service will be uninterrupted, or free of errors or security incidents.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
14.Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost opportunity — including a job or a hire you didn't get — lost goodwill, or lost or corrupted data.
Our total liability arising out of or relating to Rcrut is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100.
We are not liable for what another user does — an employer's hiring decision, a candidate's misrepresentation, or anything either says to the other.
15.Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your breach of these terms, your content, or your unlawful use of Rcrut.
If you're an employer, this includes claims arising from your job postings, your hiring decisions, and your handling of candidate data after we pass it to you.
16.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for material changes we'll tell you in the app or by email before they take effect.
If you keep using Rcrut after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms. If you don't accept them, stop using Rcrut and delete your account.
17.Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and disputes will be heard by the courts of the United Arab Emirates.
If you're a consumer, this doesn't remove any right you have to bring a claim where you live, or any protection your local law gives you that can't be overridden by contract.
Please come to us first at hello@rcrut.com. Most things are faster to fix than to litigate.
